After the flames died down
The smoke mushroomed
Into a huge ball for hours
Unperturbed by the fireman
Frantically trying to dose
Down the flames
Finding ashes
And burnt out toys for miles
Strangled of life
Scattered over the dockyard
Like random playing cards
Crushed into echoes
Calling out warnings in the wind
Of those who had lost their lives
When it should have been
So many more.
